I have not always called myself a runner… but running has got me through the toughest times of life when I needed it the most. In 2010 when my father passed away, I turned to running to heal the pain and signed up for my first 5k.
I've completed in over 30 races including 3 marathons...
10 half marathons, 9 ten miler runs (including the coveted Broad Street Run), 2 15k’s, + 6 10k’s. I even took this passion for running and made it my career by becoming a certified spinning instructor and personal trainer.
Throughout my 10 year running journey, I’ve made plenty of mistakes...
From little things like wearing the wrong shoes and getting blisters, to BIG things like not eating the right foods and losing my period for months at a time. I’ve over ran myself to exhaustion and been injured from not doing the right warm up exercises and stretches.
I turned my learning lessons into proven running plans...
